The Museum of Our Love is a PC VR experience I created in Unreal Engine as a surprise for my wife. The project takes the form of a virtual museum, guiding players through meaningful moments from our relationship, from when we first started dating to the present. I blocked out the environment using simple geometry, then built the final spaces with reusable assets and master materials. After upgrading my PC, I was excited to take advantage of Unreal’s Lumen lighting in VR. While I wouldn't recommend it for lower spec machines, it saved significant time by eliminating the need for baked lighting. This was a fun and personal project, and my wife’s reaction made it especially memorable.
